ResearchPerspective & working method
Better questions. Better next moves.
How we think about European markets, company qualification, and the relationships that develop over time. Three LND perspectives on the method behind the work.
01Method notes
From a list to a relationship.
These essays set out our approach. They are arguments and practical frameworks, rather than empirical market reports or accounts of client results.
A long cycle needs a memory.
Why the next useful action depends on what a team has learned and promised.
02A company list is a starting point.
How a commercial objective turns a broad company universe into a defensible choice.
03An event is a moment in a relationship.
How an exhibition can give a longer commercial relationship a concrete next milestone.
02The editorial approach
Useful beyond the page.
Begin with a decision.
A useful question names the choice a team needs to make: which companies to investigate, what to offer, or when a relationship deserves attention.
Make the reasoning visible.
Keep an observed fact, a commercial interpretation, and an unanswered question distinct. A confident conclusion still needs a basis someone else can inspect.
Carry the context forward.
Research should leave the next person with more than an answer. Preserve the objective, sources, uncertainty, and commitments that give that answer meaning.
03Your market question
What does your team need to decide?
Bring a market, a group of companies, or a relationship that has stalled. We can frame the research around the decision ahead.
